All we want is the best
Taranaki is a special place - but is can be better.
Unfortunately, at some stage every person in the region is likely to need the services at Taranaki Base Hospital. And we can all play a part in making it the best it can be.
Taranaki has been given $330 million by the Government to develop Taranaki Base Hospital. But if we wean the best, we all have a responsibility to help. In 2013, we managed to raise $10 million for the new Acute Service Building at Taranaki Base Hospital. Since then, over 85,000 admissions have been made to that building. That is 85,000 people who have received incredible healthcare because of your generosity.
It's time to be a hero again.
Government funding for healthcare is based on population and not need. Taranaki has a low population compared to its area. A lot of hard work goes into ensuring we have facilities that can support the population - but we need your help too.
Your support is vital to us, and every bit of support counts. Sign up below to say you support this campaign and to find out how you can help improve healthcare across the region.
